Helsbury Dog Photo Competition 2012 Entry 3

Suzanne Harris entered this lovely photo of her two dogs Bob and Charlie here at Helsbury, she said: "Sorry it has taken a while to drop you this email but just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful week spent at Helsbury Park in March. We are already looking at dates and hoping to stay again. Thought this one showed just how much Bob and Charlie loved the river at Helsbury Park and that they were very sad to have to go home. Hope to be back soon."

Well this is it, the last entry in our 2009 dog photo competition, voting will start very soon. Claire Lloyd sent these cracking shots of their dog Dave (great name ;o) and said "Just a short e-mail to say how much we enjoyed staying at Westhayes last week - we had a truly lovely time and look forward to our next visit."

Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty...

Or AONB for short, there's a lot of them, no less than 12 in Cornwall and 3 on the doorstep of Helsbury Park. Bodmin Moor is one of the biggest, the Camel Estuary one of the most spectacular and the North Coast is an absolute treaure. The perfect place to Hide...

We've recently installed a hide in the woods to allow you to keep an eye on the local wildlife, its positioned in a great spot where we've already seen deer drinking, kingfishers and dippers.

From one corner to the other...

This image just shows how far you can walk on site (if you're prepared to cross the river). This was taken from the very back corner of our land looking back across to the barns on the horizon. I think you'll agree that's a pretty impressive back garden!

Being able to walk your dogs on site is one of the huge benefits to being here, on sunny days there is no need to leave the site at all. We've counted 7 different walks you can do from the front door, that's a different one for every day of your holiday.

Helsbury Park Photo Competition 2007 / Entry 15

Nick Tucker recently visited us here at Helsbury and bought his beautiful (and massive) Great Dane called Murray. Nick said "Once again, thanks very much for an excellent week in Westhayes at Helsbury Park, we were really impressed with the facilities and especially the grounds...Murray thoroughly enjoyed himself, especially in the river!"
