Helsbury Pool Stars in Photo Shoot...

We recently lent our pool to the lovely folks at Konfidence, the baby and children's swimwear specialist, for a photo shoot. Everyone had a great time and there were some stunning shots of their new collections of sun protection suits and swim jackets. And the Award for Best View from a Sauna goes to...

OK, that might not be a real award, but if it was I'm pretty sure we'd win it. I'd be happy to see the shortlist if it isn't the winner! For more on the pool go to our web site.

Pool roof in bloom...

Well, I'll say one thing about our green roof it is different every year, this year the sedum is in full bloom and the roof is a shock of pink blooms, absolutely lovely!

A unique way of getting round Helsbury...

Rob Elliott recently stayed with us last week and he said: "This is the best cottage we have stayed in. Our week has flown by. The cottage is well planned and stocked. The swimming pool is fantastic. Our dogs have been very comfortable, I would recommend the cottage to friends, we've had a wonderful time. Thank you."

New for 2010...

We thought we'd give you a bit of a treat for 2010, especially as bookings are going so well, you can now enjoy a lovely massage by the side of the pool in our brand new massage chair. You load it with pound coins and it gives you a good going over, can't say fairer than that!

Snow at Helsbury...

We've all seen it but it is genuinely unusual for Cornwall to get the harsh weather we've had of late. However, it's still a spectacular sight to see.

The Pool is Officially Open...

And to celebrate that fact we invited Ken McMahon from Lookaround Cornwall to come in and take a 360 degree panorama shot of the interior so you really get a feel of what a fantastic addition to the facilities it really is. There are also some more up to date pictures of the pool on our flickr page, as well as lots of the construction taking place.
