Debbie Byford and her family stayed at Helsbury over Xmas, she said: “We recently stayed at Helsbury in Marhayes Cottage for Christmas. We had a challenging time leading up to the break so it was an exhausted family that arrived at Marhayes, but it was worth it. The cottage was fantastic and the thoughtful Christmas decorations made it complete. We could feel the stress melting away and Boycie had a great time running amok in the bottom field and opening his Christmas presents and everyone else’s! Every time we went out to explore Padstow and Port Isaac, he would come back exhausted and would fall asleep on my sister’s lap in the car, as you can see!”

Andy Kassell sent these really stunning shots of Ollie and Oscar at Widemouth Bay, that Andy says "captures the whole essence of their (and our) Holiday. We had a wonderful stay and Helsbury is truly fantastic, hope to see you again this year."
New for 2010...
We thought we'd give you a bit of a treat for 2010, especially as bookings are going so well, you can now enjoy a lovely massage by the side of the pool in our brand new massage chair. You load it with pound coins and it gives you a good going over, can't say fairer than that!

Snow at Helsbury...
We've all seen it but it is genuinely unusual for Cornwall to get the harsh weather we've had of late. However, it's still a spectacular sight to see.

Helen Field updated us with some shots of her dogs from their trip to Helsbury, she also said "I am just blown away with what you have achieved at Helsbury, you should be so very proud of yourselves, I hope to get back there one day as it was simply the best holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in."

Tellington Touch...
Solly recently started his Tellington Touch training with Shona Moon. It's a new kind of treatment that is very tuned to the dog's mindset. Solly really enjoyed it and seemed to visibly settle into it and relax. He went from anxious and out of his comfort zone to being very laid back and open to trying some new experiences. We have a bit further to go but it's looking good.
